2008 1st Annual Rally Up Texas "Texas Riders Helping Texans" Benefit August 9, 2008 Rally Up Texas is excited to announce our First Annual 2008 “Texas Riders Helping Texans” benefiting the Food Banks of Texas and the Rally Up Texas Children Grant. The first event will be in our Member North Texas Region located at CowTown Sports Bar and Grill, 7108 Camp Bowie West, Fort Worth, TX 76116 between the hours of 12 noon and 6pm on August 9, 2008. A benefit for the collection of food and funds. The food collected will help fill the needs of the local Food Bank pantry. The funds raised through various events, raffles and auctions will go to the Rally Up Texas Children Fund, a grant that is established with the Texas Food Bank Network for distribution to assist the needs of the Texas Food Banks children related programs, such as care and feeding. The Texas Food Bank Network is made up of 18 member Food Banks and 1 member Food Rescue organization that serve all of Texas through 3600 agencies. Working closely with the Texas Food Bank Network we and the community can help make a difference here and in Texas. This event is open to all and bring the kids. We have activities for everyone. Events at a Glance Can Goods or Five Dollar Donation "per person" at the Door Motorcycle Showcase (Local Dealers showing you their latest models and products.) 50-50 Drawing Raffles Auctions Dedicated Bike Parking Babes Bike Wash Biker Patch Sewing Boot Shining FREE...Bounce House, Balloon Shaping and Face Painting for the kids Live entertainment from various local artists Motorcycle Detail and Wax Designated Drop Area for Texas Food Bank Donations Food - Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Sausages We will accept all non-perishable food items at the door and drop locations, but are asking for containers of Tuna, Stews/Soups and Peanut Butter. Working closely with the Local Food Bank these items are in greatest need at this time.
